I am an <strong>Acupuncturist<\/strong>, a <strong>Chinese herbalist<\/strong> and an <strong>ICF Professional Certified Coach<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>I have a passion for helping people live a physically and emotionally thriving life. I have helped hundreds of people with a variety of health issues including chronic physical pain, depression, anxiety and insomnia.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-1510\" src=\"https:\/\/www.octopusfarm.com\/seattleacupuncture\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/BenDorfman-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"290\" height=\"261\" \/>Growing up with a parent who is an alternative healthcare practitioner exposed me to the true value and knowledge that alternative medicine has to offer. I was inspired at a young age to join the alternative healthcare field in order to help others in the same way this medicine has helped me.<\/p>\n<p>After going through many intense and challenging experiences, I uncovered the tools I needed that would allow me to add something unique to my already extensive healthcare education and training. My goal is to create a trusting and comforting atmosphere for my patients to reclaim their health and feel empowered to live an inspired life.<\/p>\n<p>I received a Master\u2019s of Science Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University in 2011. I completed Newfield&#8217;s Certified Coaching Training Program in 2012 and became a Newfield Certified Coach in 2015. And I became a Professional Certified Coach(PCC) through the International Coaching Federation in 2018.
